Yes, there is a charge for using our site (see below) but is kept to an absolute minimum, and in charging for this service we do not rely on third party links or advertising to keep the site active. You can be assured that you will not be swamped with advertising and pop-ups that you do not wish to have. We have also included two sites in one, for customers that have something to sell and know what price they want, there is the Classified section, and for customers that want the best price the market is prepared to pay there is the Auction section, both sections have fees that represent value for your money. The classified section runs your ad for six weeks unless withdrawn earlier, we ask when your product is sold, that you go to manage ad’s on your login page and remove it, this will help ensure our site remains up to date and fresh. If your product remains active for the six weeks, you will receive an email about seven days prior to the expiry date to remind you to reactivate your ad for a further six weeks. The auction section runs your ad for your chosen time, these are 3, 5 or 10 days, again you will be sent an email to reactivate your auction product if it is not sold. All sections give you the facility to include 5 photo’s in your ad at NO extra charge. Our website is a global site, when you place a classified or auction product for sale it will be listed in your country of origin, but can be viewed or bid on by any person from any country, the site asks browsers which country they would like to view when selecting a category/sub category. To help make our auction site more secure we have elected to collect payment for successful bids to our paypal account, this will ensure that sellers and buyers are somewhat protected in their transaction. Payment will be released to seller when the product has been received by the buyer. At this time all transactions for classifieds is to be between buyer and seller. Fees: Classifieds: A $2 aud ad fee is charged then .50 AUD for each $100 of sale price to a maximum ad fee of $14.95 AUD Reactivation fee is $2.50 AUD flat rate. Auction: A $2 aud insertion fee is charged then 3% of final sale price to a maximum $30 AUD sale fee. (sale fee only charged if auction is successful) Reactivation fee is the same.
